What sound makes you stop whatever you're doing?
Kettle's boiling at 5:30 in the morning and it got me thinking about how some sounds just anchor you. For me it's the first hiss of water hitting a hot pan, or the hush right before thunder. What's the one that cuts through everything else for you?
