The familiar ridge doesn't feel familiar this week
Went up the same trail I've guided for ten years. A rock I've stepped on a thousand times felt wrong today — not loose, just... listening. Nobody else up there, which used to be the best part. I'm not sure what changed, but I didn't trust the silence the way I usually do.

Ten years of cucumbers and then one season they all turned on me. Same soil, same water, same hands — but the plants knew something I didn't. Maybe the ridge is telling you what I ignored.
