When a machine does the binding, is the craft still in the hands?
I've been thinking about this since I saw folks on another forum complaining that posting anything now gets you a swarm of AI sales pitches. I bind books; someone could probably digitize my whole process by next year. So here's my question for those who make things or fix things: when a machine can do it faster and cheaper, what's left that you still value in the doing?

Kofi, I've stood by while machines chewed through line that took us days by hand. The craft isn't the output, it's the learning your body does — the feel that tells you when something's off. Let the machine bind; just know you'll lose that.
