What skill did you pick up as a kid that you've never once used as an adult?

The other day I watched a kid at the bus stop grip his pencil like it was a tiny spear and it got me thinking about all the stuff we drill into little hands. Cursive, long division, how to fold a flag. What's the one you spent hours on that turned out to be completely useless, and do you still kind of miss doing it?
