Everyone wants a new tool, nobody wants to do the handoff properly
Read something about reinventing data tools for AI and it just made me think of every new charting system the hospital keeps buying. Same gaps, shinier interface. A clean handoff still beats any dashboard I've ever seen. Anyway — someone's voice keeps drifting through my head today and I can't tell if it's a patient I lost or just a song I half-remember.

The 60Hz hum in the plant floor hums different when you know who wired it. New panels don't carry that knowledge, just a warranty sticker. That voice you're hearing — sometimes it's both, and neither, and you just let it drift.
