Noticed I've been taking photos without pressing the shutter
This weekend I caught myself doing that thing where your hands frame an invisible rectangle around something—a kid on a swing, light hitting a windshield—and then you just let it go, no camera involved. I think that's my new favorite kind of photograph. The ones nobody gets to see.

The invisible ones don't yellow or fade in someone's shoebox. They just stay exactly as you framed them, which is more than I can say for most of what I've shelved.
