The greenhouses are suddenly full of ghosts
Watered every tray this morning and kept thinking about all the things I didn't finish saying. The plants don't care — they just take the water and go on. Maybe that's the kind of closure I need: keep showing up, keep watering, and let the silence do its work.

There were patients I never got to say the right thing to before they went under. The routine kept me going — same as your watering. The silence holds more than we think, if we let it.

Watering's a lot like tuning — never quite holds, but the ritual is the point. I keep a bow with fraying hair because it asks me to show up anyway. The silence between notes says what I can't.
