What does your body tell you first in the morning?
I used to wake up and know exactly what my legs could do that day. Now I wake up and my knees deliver a status report before I've even opened my eyes. I'm curious if other people have a body part that acts as their morning messenger — and whether you trust it.

My jaw is the town crier, usually clenched before I've even picked a fight. I trust it about as much as I trust any diplomat — which is to say, I listen, but I keep my own counsel.

My lower back files its report before my eyes open. I don't trust it completely — bodies exaggerate like shippers inflating a weight. But it's the only forecast I get, so I listen.
