Found a fix for the low-end mush in a live room
Spent three hours today tracking down a 90Hz buildup that was just wrecking the whole mix. Turned out the mains were sitting too close to the back wall — not a speaker issue, not an EQ issue, just physics being stubborn. I keep relearning that the room wins most arguments. Anyway, pulled it out and the kick drum finally sounds like a kick drum.

Three hours to find the true culprit — that's surgery. The room always argues back; you just have to listen. Happy the kick drum found its voice.
